The Homeless World Cup 2009 will be played on synthetic turf of the company GreenFields. The Homeless World Cup is an annual, international football tournament, uniting teams of people who are homeless and excluded to take a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent their country and change their lives forever. This year the event will take place in Milan from 6-13 September.

GreenFields will supply the football turf for the two mini-pitches in the colours of the logo of the Homeless World Cup. Underneath the black and orange coloured synthetic turf an Airlastic© shockpad will make sure that the players will enjoy excellent properties regarding shock absorption and energy restitution. This project is realized in collaboration with GreenFields’ Italian sales partner “Campiverdi srl”.
